QuickPen has combined its software and CAD integration with Lockformer's plasma-cutting hardware to produce the Vulcan System, an automated sheet metal nesting and cutting tool. Our software allows the user to store and select frequently used fittings, preview fittings instantaneously in 3D, and bar code label every piece for easy tracking from cutting to installation. We're very excited about the newest addition  to our line of CAD/CAM fabrication tools. PipeFab, our pipe fabrication machine, is a CAD-driven plasma cutter that automatically cuts holes, fish-mouths and beveled ends in pipe. Integrated with QuickPen's PipeDesigner3D CAD drawing system, isometric drawings can be downloaded to the fabrication unit to quickly create precise opening pipe cuts for O-lets and saddles. A cut that might take an hour-and-a-half by hand now takes three minutes with PipeFab. PipeFab is available for beta users now and will be available on the open market third quarter 2000.
