AutoBid® Implementation Training
View Schedules or Request Registration Info
QuickPen International is introducing a new implementation training curriculum. The new curriculum combines Internet-based, online training with traditional classroom training. It is designed to substantially decrease specification setup and implementation time so you can begin estimating more quickly than ever. Because
training directly affects your ability to produce timely, accurate, bids we encourage you to enroll in training as
soon as possible. Use the following guidelines to plan your personal training schedule.
Step 1: Enroll in WebEx Training |
 |
Once you have set up AutoBid and learned some of the basic functions, you can enroll in online WebEx
Training sessions. These sessions will help you become more familiar with the structure and functionality of
AutoBid, including TakeOff applications, project set up and implementation requirements.
This course introduces new users to AutoBid with demonstrations and practical exercises. Homework for the
WebEx sessions guides you through the major functions and applications you need to learn in order implement
the program successfully. After you have finished the WebEx Training course, your homework assignments
will be used to implement a system at the Resident Implementation Course.
Step 2: Attend Resident Implementation Course |
 |
When you have completed all online WebEx Training sessions, you can enroll in our resident course in our
training facility. Note: Completing the entire WebEx Training is required before you can register for the
Resident Implementation Course. Current AutoBid users already implemented who do not wish to participate
in online training must demonstrate the knowledge and proficiency needed for class by successfully completing
the AutoBid WebEx Challenge. If you want to take the challenge, please call 800-234-3758 for information.
There are two main phases of this course: the first is an extension of the WebEx Training sessions in which
you will learn how to take off drawings in graphical mode, build assemblies and symbols, and run different
reports; during the second phase you will enter the information you prepared as homework during the WebEx
Training sessions. At the end of the course, you will have implemented at least one system with which an
estimate can be prepared. When you return home, you can restore this system to your personal computer.
Additional Course Offering: TakeOff Seminar |
 |
This class is designed for either the experienced user who wants to refresh TakeOff skills and pick up a few
more tips and tricks, or the new user who needs to learn how to strip off drawings, build assemblies and
symbols, and prepare an estimate. Although not a requirement, we recommend that you complete the WebEx
Training discussed in Step 1 prior to enrolling in this seminar. This will help to provide a better learning
experience while attending the TakeOff class. To enroll in training, please call 800-234-3758.
