QuickPen's PipeDesigner 3D extends Autodesk products to provide enhanced piping-specific features. PipeDesigner 3D 2008 v1 provides tight integration with Autodesk's 2008 products AutoCAD^® 2008, AutoCAD^® Architecture and AutoCAD^® MEP as well as AutoCAD^® 2007, Autodesk^® Architectural Desktop 2007, and Autodesk^® Building Systems 2007.

The new ConnectEst capabilities in PipeDesigner 3D 2008 v1 give contractors powerful integration with QuickPen's AutoBid Mechanical estimating system. Users can easily export all or part of a drawing to AutoBid Mechanical to run cost estimates on the project as drawn.
