QuickPen is an Autodesk Authorized Independent Software Venture (ISV) Partner. Our relationship with Autodesk, the world's leading 3D software developer, allows us to develop the most tightly integrated CAD software in the piping and sheet metal industries and provide solutions tailored specifically for mechanical and HVAC contractors.

In addition to our software development partnership, QuickPen and AutoDesk have joined forces in developing a CAD training program for the United Association of Pipe Fitters and Plumbers. Under the program, UA Locals are able to provide members with AutoCAD® and PipeDesigner 3D® training. The UA provides grants to Local UA halls to purchase computer hardware and QuickPen's PipeDesigner 3D and Autodesk's AutoCAD® at discounted rates. QuickPen then provides hands-on assistance to install the software and provides free training to the local UA Instructors. The instructors then provide 6-week classes to apprentices and journeymen at their UA Locals.

This program, which will be delivered throughout the United States, is designed to train UA members on the latest CAD detailing technology. It will also help the industry address a critical shortage of trained detailers.
