The year 2009 was an exciting year for the QuickPen organization. It was a year that included new software releases, new training options, and a successful Educational User Conference. It also brought a change of ownership for the company. In early March of 2009, Trimble Navigation Limited (“Trimble”) acquired QuickPen International Corp. This acquisition was driven by the synergy between Trimble and the QuickPen product offerings.

With a full year under the ownership of Trimble, QuickPen continues to maintain its leadership status within the mechanical construction and plumbing industries, providing a complete line of estimating, CAD, fabrication, and tool & equipment management solutions to make contractors more efficient, more productive and more profitable. QuickPen serves thousands of customers in the United States, Canada and Australia and is located in Englewood Colorado.
