This Support Bulletin applies to customers who are using AutoBid SheetMetal 2009 v2.

This release introduced Rapid Reports - our Excel-based reporting tool for AutoBid.  For a given project, the Rapid Reports interface allows you to have multiple Rapid Reports based on Base Bid or Alternates.

If you create a Rapid Report for an alternate in AutoBid SheetMetal, and then you try to access that file later on by using the "Update and Open" button, the program will load Base Bid data into the Rapid Report.

 

You can resolve this issue by deleting the alternate for the Rapid Reporting and re-creating it.  This only happens for Alternates when you are using the "Open & Update" button.  If there are no changes in the alternate, you can access it by using the "Open, NO Update" button.  This does not impact Base Bid information.
